Daniel C. Stockford is a partner whose practice generally focuses on two distinct areas. Dan regularly advises direct marketers in regard to state laws relating to unclaimed property, and he has represented catalog companies and Internet merchants throughout the United States in negotiating voluntary agreements with state agencies to avoid penalties and interest and resolve issues of past liability. Dan also serves as labor counsel for a wide range of public and private sector employers. He has defended claims filed with the National Labor Relations Board and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, as well as with state labor relations boards and human rights commissions. His practice also includes representing school districts on issues such as student rights, student discipline, and employment matters.
